Sonja Thornton, 83, of Houston, passed away September 14 ^th , 2022.  Sonja was born in Houston, Texas to the late William Hauser and Katie Mae (Woodland) Hauser.

Sonja is survived by her daughter Amy Read, Rebecca Richards (John Oldag) grandchildren, Sarah (Steven) Meadows, Tim (Laura) Read, and sister, Wanda Barham.

Including parents Sonja was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Thornton and brother Frank Arie.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at Cude Cemetery, 10,000 Cude Cemetery Rd. with REV.  William Blaine Hooper officiating.

To join us at Cude Cemetery, take I45 North to FM830 and head West, go down to Cude Cemetery Road and turn Left, Follow the road all the way down to the cemetery. If you see the lake you've gone too far.
