Sidney Ruben Smith, Sr. was born in Houston, Texas on May 25, 1929, and passed away on November 19, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Nancy Smith; and his brothers, Clayton Smith, Wilber Smith

and George Smith.

Sidney is survived by his daughter, Renee Millspaugh and husband Joseph; son, Sidney R. Smith, Jr.; Brother, Madison Smith; sister, Judy Vohson; grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Aaron Millspaugh, Andrew Millspaugh; great-grandchildren, Levi Millspaugh, Michele Millspaugh, and Hayden Millspaugh; and many additional family members and friends.

He was a Master Mason in 1976, and he enjoyed building model airplanes and restoring old guns. He loved hunting, fishing, and flowers- especially his beautiful rose garden back in North Carolina.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation at 1pm with a funeral service for Sidney to follow at 2pm on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations in Sidney's name be made to the Alzheimer's foundation of America.
