Sid received his bachelor's degree from Southeastern University, Hammond, LA in 1966. He was active in the Newman Club during college and was a monitor at Cardinal Newman Hall Dormitory where he lived when it opened in 1964. He met his wife Dianne at a Newman Club Dance in May of 1965 and they married a year later.
Sid was employed by Boeing Aircraft right out of college and worked at NASA for several years until aerospace slowed down.
The family moved to California in 1971 when Sid joined General Telephone of Southern California as a Project Manager. While employed was a sponsor for Junior Achievement and made his wife buy whatever the teenagers were selling that week.
Every Friday night for 8 years you would find him working Bingo at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Lomita, CA, where his children attended school.
Sid retired at age 51 and has enjoyed his numerous hobbies of sport card collecting, fantasy sports league teams, European travel and weekly poker games.
