Mr. Sidney John Gilbert passed away February 4, 2017.  He was born April 1, 1932 in Rayne, LA to the late Albert and Sadie Foreman Gilbert.  Mr. Gilbert was a retired transportation manager in the Natural Gas Pipeline Industry and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Mr. Gilbert was preceded in death by his wife Martha, grandson Keith, granddaughter Alexandra and son in law Tom, his 2 brothers and sister, and parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Dianne, and his grandchildren by her are Michelle, Tommy and Travis, Son, Mark and his wife Carolyn, and their children Connie and Andrew, Son, Kirk, and his wife Vivian and their daughters Jacqueline and Racquel, and Kristina and her daughter, Olivia Wren. Sidney also has numerous nephews and nieces and their families.

A time of visitation will be held from 9 to 10 am on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 with the funeral service to begin at 10 am at the Klein Funeral Chapel, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.  Burial will follow at the Klein Memorial Park, Pinehurst, TX
