Shirley Maxine Petrich, 85, of Waller, Texas, passed away on September 3rd, 2021 with family present.

Shirley was born on April 7th, 1936 to Virgil and Katie Griffin in the small town of Richland, Texas. After Shirley graduated from John H Reagan Sr Highschool in the Heights of Houston, Texas she pursued a career as a bookkeeper, which she maintained as her profession until retirement.

Shirley, or Granny, as her family called her, lived most of her life in Waller, Texas where she spent most of her time enjoying the company of her family. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Katie and Virgil Griffin, her sons Matthew Blackwell, Mark Blackwell, and Kirk Powell. She is survived by her sister Betty Hale, her grandchildren Jacob Powell, Jessica Powell, Brett Marburger, his wife Brianna Marburger, and Brooke Torres and her husband Tony Torres, Renee Evans, as well as her great grandchildren Nevaeh Laboy, Cash Laboy, Avery Ruppart, Jaxon Ruppart, Kaleb Powell, Jordyn Powell, Cameron Powell, and Judge Marburger. Services will be held at Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial in Magnolia, Texas on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021.
