Shirley Inez Medley, age 81, entered the gates of Heaven on December 5th, 2024 surrounded by family in Spring, Texas. She was born on May 8th, 1943 to Pat and Beatrice Adair in Harlingen, Texas.

Shirley met the love of her life at the age of fourteen. Shirley and E.C Medley were married four years later on June 10th, 1961. Together, they shared 63 years of faithful marriage. Shirley loved to laugh and always had a witty comeback. She also enjoyed crafting, spending time at the beach, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Shirley is lovingly remembered by her husband E.C Medley, her two children Tom Medley and wife Jennifer, Tammy LaFountain and her husband Greg Porterfield; six grandchildren Madison Medley, Brandon LaFountain, Jake Medley and wife Josanne, Rachel LaFountain, and Joey Medley; one great grandson Cooper Medley; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pat and Beatrice Adair; brother Norman Wayne Adair; and sister Beverly Hushen.

Her service will be December 11th, 2024 at Klein Funeral Home Champions 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with a service to follow at 10:00 am.

Memorial funds may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in honor of Shirley Medley.
