Shirley McGarry, age 85, of Conroe Tx, peacefully passed away on May 23,2020 at home.

Shirley was born in Bronx, NY to John and Delia Conroy (McDonough) on Oct. 13, 1934. She married Jim McGarry Feb.27, 1960 in Bronx NY. She later moved to NJ and lived in Leonardo and then Milllstone prior to moving to the Houston area 36 years ago. Shirley worked for many years at Mervyns Department store. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in The Woodlands. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, traveling and playing Mahjong with her freinds.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Jim McGarry, parents, John and Delia Conroy, son, J.J. McGarry, grandson, Justin McGarry and sister Eileen Conroy.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Eileen McGarry, Shirley "Rosie" Brown and her partner Tony Hurley, JoAnne Gafford and her husband Kevin, her brother Jack Conroy, sisters Nancy Hughes and Pat Grady, grandchildren Thomas McGarry, Courtney Hurley, Corey Brown, Jessalyn McGarry, Owen Gafford and KayLee Gafford, great-grandchildren Raney, Alannah, Katie, Juniper, and numerous nephews and nieces.
