Shirley Louise Constantine Ledet, age 72 of Cypress, Texas passed away April 12, 2017. She was born November 2, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband David John Ledet, father Charles Constantine, Sr., mother Mary Lue Beaugh, twin Brother Robert Constantine, Sr., brother John Constantine, and sister Margaret Richards. She is survived by her daughter Katharine Ledet Juenke and her husband Spencer; grandchildren Claire Isabelle and Jack Henry Juenke; brothers Charles Constantine, Jr., Russel Constantine, Ray Constantine, and sisters Ella Ryan, Lee Bergeron, Rena Nevels and other family and friends.
Shirley is leaving behind a beautiful legacy of cultivating family, friendship, and community. She was a proud mom and grandmother, a beloved neighbor, and a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she was active in the choir, handbells, the Classic Adults group, and the Sassy Lassies.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd UMC, Cypress, Texas 77433 at 10 AM Monday, April 17, 2017. Entombment services will be 9 AM April 20, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery and Mausoleum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions in Shirley's memory be made to the Good Shepherd UMC Music Department, 20155 Cypresswood Drive, Cypress, TX, 77433.
