Obituary

Shirley Anne Lawler born March 27, 1941 passed away peacefully in her home on November 18, 2017.

Shirley had a lifelong love of animals. A breeder and owner of champion Great Danes and Australian Terriers; she owned and operated Indrio Pedigree Service for more than 45 years, personally creating multi-generation AKC pedigrees for people all over the United States. Because of her love for animals she became heavily involved with animal legislation becoming a well-respected voice of animal welfare nationwide. Shirley was also an active member of Tomball American Legion Auxiliary Unit 127. Shirley led by example by maintaining an active role in veteran's affairs; working to preserve veterans' rights while advocating for better benefits and pay as well as volunteering and serving the veterans and their families in her community.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, George Snell; her daughters, Lori Elmore and Sherry Lawler and three stepchildren.

A Memorial Service will be at 6PM Sunday, December 3, 2017

Location: VFW Post 2427, 14408 Alice Rd, Tomball, TX

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 127 will be presenting the memorial service.
