Shirley Moore Hamilton

Shirley Ann Moore Hamilton, 91, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022.

Shirley was born in Emerson Arkansas on July 20, 1931 to Ida Walker Moore and Charles W. Moore. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James W. Hamilton in 2008, along with her son, William Walker 'Chip' Hamilton in 2013.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Hamilton and husband Casey Smith; Jill Isaacs and husband Carl Isaacs; four grandchildren, Justin Gilbow, Savannah Swan, Cameron Isaacs and Mitchell Isaacs; her brothers Jim Moore, and John Moore and his wife Kathy Moore, along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care who cared for her in her final months.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Shirley's life at a graveside service at Stuart Walkerville Cemetery in the spring.
