Obituary

Shirley Hall,  of Houston, Texas, passed away on the morning of October 7, 2022.

Shirley  was born on February 17, 1943. She grew up in the Spring Branch area with her parents Clifton and Nettie Nelius, and her three siblings Carl, Dennis, and Linda.

Shirley married Roy Douglas Hall, on May 2, 1959.  The two had their first child, Sheryl in 1960. Their second child, Rodney was born in 1963.

She dedicated her life to being a devoted and loving wife and wonderful mother. Shirley supported her family through their many passions and difficulties in their lives. She was strong, compassionate, sentimental, fiercely loyal, humorous, giving, and full of integrity.  All who knew her were blessed to have her in their lives.

Shirley was predeceased by her father and her mother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roy Douglas Hall, her two children Rodney (Rhonda) Hall of Port Acres, Texas and Sheryl (John) Jaksha of Tomabll, Texas.  Her six grandchildren, Jason Jaksha, Justin (Jennie) Jaksha, Kristin Smith, Reagin (Aaron) Sonnier, Lauren Williamson and Roddy Hall. Her nine great-grandchildren, Zak, Bryden, Zoe, Jayden, Makenna, Willow, June, Isabella, and Briana. She will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas on Wednesday, October 12, from 5pm-8pm.  A graveside service will be held at Klein Memorial Park on Thursday, October 13, at 10:00am.
