It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Jean Ricotta Bradley of Richards, TX, announce her passing on November 4th, 2024, at the age of 87.  Shirley was born on February 7, 1937 in Houston, TX.  Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Efton Bradley Sr., her parents Angelo Ricotta and Juanita Ricotta-Nash, and her infant daughter Theresa Jean Bradley.

She is survived by her son Ronald Bradley and wife Cathy, son Gerald Bradley and wife Sandra, son Efton Bradley Jr. and wife Dawn, daughter Sharon Supak and husband David, and sister, Angie Gurka.  Grandchildren- Ronald Jr and wife Brandi, Mark and wife Brittany, Jessica and husband Matt, Jaclyn, Garrett and wife Hannah, Wesley and wife Crystal, Melissa and husband BJ, Melanie and husband Austin, Kevin and wife Kaleigh, Katelyn and husband Regan, Colby and wife Lexi, Kelsey and husband Zach, as well as 30 great grandchildren, with one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley, also known as, Grandma, Grammy, and Mimi, enjoyed family time more than anything. You could often find her in the kitchen, cooking and baking. Grocery shopping with her during the holidays was an all day affair. No mater how crowded the grocery store was, she was going to take her sweet time picking out the perfect meats, vegetables, and pies. Her Thanksgiving stuffing was one that many craved all year long, and she made sure to cook enough for a whole army. She taught us that there could never be enough butter in a meal, and only salted butter was acceptable. There wasn't a single day that she didn't have cookies and treats baked for her grandkids and great grandkids. Christmas time at her house was always magical and you could bet at any given time she was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie, even in July. You could always count on her to go out to eat with, and she would want to order one of everything off the menu. She was a huge animal lover who spoiled her beloved dog Smokey and current cat, Boots with home cooked meals and Sonic ice cream. She enjoyed her daily game shows, listening to classic country music, and watching Fox News. She was the most thoughtful and generous person, who had more love in her heart than one could imagine. She was loved and adored by many and will be greatly missed by all.
