It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shirley Arnell Boleman, who left this world peacefully on August 28, 2025. Born on January 19, 1934, in Orleans, Nebraska, to Elmer & Louise Arnell. Shirley was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.

Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. A modern-day wanderer, there were places to call home in Colorado, Texas twice, Montana, Arizona, California, back to Colorado, and finally to Texas once again. She had a passion for golf, playing bridge and volunteering at church events while serving on the Altar Guild.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott and later her husband Stuart "Bud" Boleman. She is survived by her son Steve Boleman and wife Susan, and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.

Of special note was her time serving as a manager for Scott's home care after a severe head injury. For almost 10 years, she organized and directed a large group of volunteers who worked in an effort to restore his function and flexibility. Their efforts will always be appreciated.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Oct 4th, 11:00 AM at Trinity Anglican Church in Jonestown, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice or Trinity Anglican Church.
