Sherwin Rene' (Pap) Papillon, 81, passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born August 2, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, to Leon and Vernita Papillon, who preceded him in death.

Pap is survived by his wife, Joyce, three daughters, Kathryn Papillon Bethke and husband, Jim, Melinda McClinton and husband, David, and Mary Papillon Everett and husband, Garry.  Pap is also survived by grandchildren: Courtney Boudreaux, Amanda White and husband, Randy, and Trey McClinton and Great grandchildren, Reece and Ryder Hickman, and sister, Elsbeth Richard.

Pap served in the U.S. Army in the 1950's.  He earned a BS in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and an MBA from the University of Houston.

He retired from National Supply Division of ARMCO Steel Corporation. He enjoyed traveling and photography, the outdoors and especially fishing and camping and spending time with family.

Funeral with be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 am at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball, TX with Minister Larry Keele officiating. Visitation is 9:00 am prior to funeral.
