Sherry J. Conner, 75, of Tomball Texas, passed away March 9 ^th , 2023.  Sherry was born July 17 ^th , 1947, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to the late Grover Jeter and Patsy (Kirkley) Jeter.

Sherry is survived by her son, Keith Barksdale and daughter in law Brandi Barksdale; grandsons, Chad Barksdale, Chase Barksdale, Cade Barksdale and granddaughter, Chaney Barraza; nephew Kevin Jeter and sister-in-law, Paula Jeter.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edwin Conner.

Sherry was born in Vickburg, Mississippi but lived the majority of her young life in Tuscaloosa Alabama.  She was always surrounded by the football tradition and grew up an avid Alabama fan.  She eventually met and married Donald Conner and they relocated to Houston Texas in 1982 where she lived the remainder of her life.  Don & Sherry opened a local ice cream shop in Tomball named Flavors and operated it for several years.  After Don's passing, she dedicated her time to spending whatever time that she could with her grandchildren whom she adored.  She will be sorely missed for her loving spirit and unconditional love of her family.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, March 14 ^th , 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston Texas 77038, with REV. Terry Teykl officiating.
