Sheretta was born to Chester and Sallie Mae Allen at Jefferson Davis Hospital in Houston, TX. She graduated from Tomball High School in 1987. After high school she attended Tyler Junior College where she received an associate's degree in Business Administration. She worked for the counties of Harris and Fort Bend for 6 years in various administrative roles. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves behind a husband, Kevin LaBarge, a son, Ryan LaBarge, and two grandchildren, Kannon and Kash LaBarge.
Her mother, Sallie MacAllen, would like to say that Sheretta was a very loving, selfless person who always put others before herself. She was my baby, and I love her very much, and I know she loves me.
Her sister, Angela Mitchell, would like to say although Sheretta was the baby, she always looked after me and made sure I was okay. She has surely taken a piece of my heart with her. I will miss her dearly. I love her more than words can ever say.
Her father, Chester Allen, would like to say that Sheretta valued my advice and opinion. I love her very dearly, and she knew just how much.
Her sister, Beverly Fulton, would like to say "You'll always be my honey bun" with love always.
Her brother, Glenn smith, would like to say how much he'll miss our deep to light hearted conversations. Day or night, you were always there for me, I love you and I'll miss you.
