Shelley Douglass Wolf, 57, of Houston, TX, passed away on April 7th, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born on December 29, 1967, Shelley was the cherished daughter of William and Anita Douglass. She was the devoted wife of Jim Wolf, with whom she shared 34 beautiful years of marriage. To Jim, Shelley was an answered prayer—a blessing beyond words whose love shaped their family and their lives together.

Shelley's greatest joy was being a mother to William, Dylan, and Alex. Her lifelong dream was to raise a family and one day become a grandmother, a role she looked forward to with all her heart. She poured herself into motherhood with unwavering devotion, grace, and love.

Shelley also had a deep calling to nurture young children in the classroom. Over the span of 20 years, she taught four-year-olds at both Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and Good Shepherd Methodist Church. With her beautiful smile and outgoing personality, she created a joyful, welcoming space where children felt safe and loved. Her students adored her, and to this day, Jim continues to receive heartfelt messages from parents sharing how deeply Shelley impacted their children's lives. Her legacy lives on in every little heart she helped shape.

To those who knew her best, Shelley was an extraordinary woman with unmatched determination. She knew what she wanted in life and pursued it with focus and passion. Even from a young age, she was a remarkable judge of character, and those around her trusted her instincts and insights.

Shelley was also a constant source of encouragement, support, and unconditional love. She cheered for her loved ones through every milestone and stood by them in every trial. Her strength was quiet but unshakable, and her love was always steadfast. Shelley had a unique and contagious laugh that could light up a room, reminding everyone of the joy and warmth that she exhibited daily.

She was a beloved sister to Holly Guerrero and lovingly remembered her late brother, Michael Douglass. Her presence brought light to every room, and her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was also a wonderful aunt, known for making her nieces and nephews feel loved and celebrated. Her ability to make others feel special and valued extended to all corners of family.

Shelley's life was rooted in her Christian faith which shaped how she loved, served and carried herself each day. Her faith guided how she raised her children, how she cared for and taught her students and how she loved her family and friends. She had a quiet strength that came from her unwavering trust in Jesus.
