Shelia Geraldine Calhoun, age 73, of Houston, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Shelia was born in Houston, Texas on April 29, 1946. She attended Reagan High school where she met the love of her life, James. She and James were wed August 29, 1964 and were married for 55 years.

Shelia worked for CFISD as a school bus driver for over 15 years where she made many lifelong friends. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, spending time with her children, grandchildren and all her nieces and nephews. She had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and smile. Shelia was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shelia's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in hopes of finding a cure.
