Obituary

Sheila Margaret Laird, born September 14, 1948 in Camden, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 in The Woodlands, Texas.

Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Dick Hinchee, father, Bill Laird, mother and stepfather Jimmy and Margaret Stewart, brother, Steve Laird and various aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors include her brothers: Jimmy Laird and wife Michele,  Tim Stewart and  wife Irene, nephews: Jason Laird, Andy Laird, Stan Laird and Chad Stewart; uncles: Bill Sartain, Terry Sartain, aunts: Shirley Ann Armstrong, aunt and uncle Marie and Sam Becker. aunt Martha Sartain, aunt Diana Sartain, her dear friend Mindy Wilson in addition to a large group of cousins that loved her dearly.

She was a graduate of Calallen High Scgool, Calallen, Texas and married Richard (Dick) Alllen Hinchee on May 31,1968.

Sheila had a varied life and traveled to many parts of the world. She was in the cosmetic field for several years ending up with Este Lauder. When she tired of traveling, she settled into a job with Harris County Constable Precinct 4 as a dispatcher.

Sheila had a very active social life, she was our "party girl!"  She was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and spent 15 years as a Corral Club Member.  Sheila loved nothing more than getting together with friends and family and 'telling stories' and she was one of the best story tellers!

She was a beautiful and loving person and will be missed by many friends and loved ones!

A Celebration Of Life for Sheila will be at a later date.
