Obituary

Shaun Robert Christopher Gann was born in Sterling, IL on August 11, 1971 to Jimmy Dean Gann and Doris Ann (nee) Finnicum and ended his journey on this earth on October 27, 2025 in Houston, Texas.

He is survived and deeply missed by his wife of 33 years, Milena, and their son Michael.

Shaun's childhood was spent in Illinois and Florida. His teenage years through adulthood were lived in Texas where he graduated from Humble High School in 1989.

In January 1991, in a training class for Continental Airlines, he met his future wife, Milena. A few months later they started dating and he proposed to her two weeks after. She happily said yes and they were married on January 18, 1992. They were blessed with their son, Michael, in 2002.

Shaun considered Michael his greatest treasure and called him "my best buddy". They were inseparable from the moment Michael was born. Shaun was a father like few others, caring, understanding, loving, and always instilling in him the values of being an honest, respectful, and responsible adult. His biggest dream was of seeing Michael walk across the stage for his college graduation. He will now be watching from his place in Heaven, cheering him on and beaming with pride.

Shaun's other love, other than Milena and Michael, was working for Comcast. He felt truly lucky to have a job he loved and colleagues he considered friends. He always spoke about how great it felt to have a job in a company that appreciated their employees and showed it. He was well liked and respected not only for his professional skills but also for his amazing energy, friendliness, and willingness to step up and help whenever needed.

Besides Milena and Michael, Shaun is also survived by his mother Doris, brothers Jimmy, Howard, and Lawrence, sisters Andrea, Larissa, Heather and Amy, parents-in-law Rodrigo and Cecilia, brothers/sisters-in-law, Steven, Yvette, Irma, Kyle, Leland, and Amy and a large circle of nieces and nephews.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers to the Gann family and their loved ones.
