Sharon Kay Rippley, 49, of Cypress, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2018 after a long-fought battle with cancer.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Julius & Winifred Rippley and George and Alma Jo Aryes, her older brother, James Rippley.  She is survived by her parents, James L.  'Rip" and Patricia Rippley, her sisters Deborah Shaw, Donna Rippley, and brother, Donald Rippley, with numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon's passions in life were her job with Waller County Sheriff's Office as a detention officer in the control center.  Sharon also volunteered with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 12 years on the Corral Club ticket sales Committee, and the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo, where she served on the Spur Club.

Sharon had a warm heart and loved helping others, spending time with her family and friends.  She will be missed by many but will never be forgotten.
