Sharon Kaye Parker, 68, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 29, 2026, after a courageous 10-year journey with primary progressive aphasia.

Born on October 23, 1957, in Houston, Texas, Sharon graduated from Cy-Fair High School. On January 21, 1978, she married Terry Parker, and they shared 48 years of marriage.

After becoming a mother to three children, Sharon devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother, a role she loved deeply.

She later joined Decker Prairie Elementary School, where she worked for 18 years and cherished the friendships she made and loved working with the children, teachers, and staff.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kolby Parker, and her father, Vernon Petrich.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Terry Parker; her daughters, Kristin Parker and Kaitlin Zimmerman, and her son-in-law, Chris Zimmerman; her granddaughters, Lillian, Caroline, and Jane Zimmerman; her mother, Jean Petrich; her sister, Diane McNair; and her brothers, Bubba Petrich, Doug Petrich, and Greg Petrich, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Though primary progressive aphasia gradually took away Sharon's ability to communicate, it never diminished the love she shared, the kindness she showed, or the legacy she leaves behind.

A family and friends gathering will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a memorial service to immediately begin at 10:00 am at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball.
