Just prior to Halloween in Fargo, North Dakota, Sharon Jean (Weiss) Leiseth was born on October 30th, 1944 to Oliver and Ann Weiss as one of their seven children: Ernest, Glenn, Lorraine, Deloris, Gayle and Renee. Sharon mainly grew up in Moorhead, MN and attended Moorhead High School. In 1961, Sharon married Melvin Duane Leiseth and started their large family of five children: Michelle Marie Jungers – husband: Marc Jungers of Hockley, TX; Lisa Ann Hees – husband: Scott Hees of Pinehurst, NC; Heidi Louise Hogue – husband: Ben Hogue of Dallas, TX; Marci Lynn Leiseth – husband: Ed Juarez of Brooklyn, NY and Nicholes Duane Leiseth – wife: Emily Leiseth of Tomball, TX.

In addition to the children and spouses listed above are the remaining immediate family members that were blessed by having Sharon closely tied in their lives…

Sharon and Melvin spent many of their 56 years of marriage in Moorhead area, but the last 35 have been in Texas. Sharon's selfless love of family, gracious acceptance of individuality and tireless caring for multiple generations has molded and blessed all of our family and friends more than she would have ever known. We are all better fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters because of having Sharon guide us through those ebbs and flows of life. We all take comfort that Sharon's soul left this place without struggle and know she is in a better place now. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered, talked about in stories and highlighted in all of the great things that the Jungers, Hoffman, Leiseth, Hees, Juarez and Hogue children accomplish for many years to come. We will all deeply miss her, but she will be in our thoughts, stories and hearts for the rest of our days. Sharon's legacy is strong, lasting and unforgettable.
