Sharon Lynne LeBlanc was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 19, 2024 at the age of 79. Her life was marked by her abiding love for her family and her gentle spirit that enveloped all who were near her. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on April 29, 1945. Sherry was the daughter of Franklin Hugh Baker and Lois St. John Baker. She is preceded in death by her husband, F. Charles LeBlanc; grandson, Matthew Douglas Bancroft; brother Teke Baker; sister in laws Sandra Jo Baker; and Barbara Lee Pierce.

Sherry is survived her daughters Kimberly Marie Bancroft and Kristin Lynne Ruffin and her son F. Charles LeBlanc II and his wife Kristi Rickli LeBlanc and six grandchildren: Meredith Marie Bancroft, Andrew Charles Bancroft, Sarah Caroline Ruffin, Robert Jeffrey Ruffin, Jr., Avery Grace LeBlanc and F. Charles LeBlanc, III. She is also survived by her nephew, Burt Lee Jr.; and her nieces Jennifer Jo Baker and Mallory Marie Hickock.

Growing up in Beaumont, Texas, Sherry graduated from French High School where she was a member of several organizations like the Buffalo Belles, Yearbook and Spanish Club. She attended Lamar University where she met and married Charles. Sherry enjoyed being a member of Alpha Delta Pi and working as a model for local businesses. She graduated with a degree in English.

After moving to Houston, Texas in 1971, Sherry flourished as a mother and homemaker. She was an active member of the Ponderosa PTO and occasionally served as a substitute teacher. She found new talents when she worked as an event and convention planner for The Reliable Life Insurance Company. This work took her to new places around the world and allowed her generous spirit to shine. Between 1992-2002, Sherry went back to her first professional love, which was teaching. She was a sixth grade English teacher at Bammel Middle School in Spring ISD. In the years after, she became a patient and loving caregiver for her husband, Charles, as he suffered with Parkinson's disease. Sherry was known by another name, "Nonni" by her seven grandchildren and she was often found at their school events and personal activities with an engaging smile and encouraging hug.

A funeral mass for Sharon will be held at 11am on Friday, October 4, 2024 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Klein Memorial Park on FM2920.
