Sharon Lynn Duffield
July 11, 1944 – July 20, 2020

Sharon Lynn Duffield (Bisset) was born July 11, 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Jesse H. Jones High School in 1963. She worked for many years in personnel at Spring Branch Independent School District, and retired from the State of Texas Department of Rehabilitative Services in 2009. Her greatest joys were being a wife, mother and part of a big loving family. Sharon was survived by her husband of 31 years, James (Jim) Duffield, mother Virginia Polk Bissett and predeceased by her father Evans Lawrence Bissett. She is further survived by her son Wade Gonsoulin and his wife Astrid, children Savannah, Leon and Paula, son Bryan Gonsoulin and Jennifer, children Katelynn, Connor, and Isabelle, daughter Leslie and husband Michael Organ, children Sydney, Danielle, Trey, Kristen, and Audry, brother Michael and Stephanie Bissett, and daughter Linley Storm, children Jake and Evelyn, nephew Sammy and wife Michaela, nephew Joseph, brother Daryl and Jennifer Bissett, son Evan and Pamela, Ethan, Jessica. Dedicating her life to the cultivation of unconditional love and strength, Sharon will be dearly remembered and honored as a foundation corner stone of the family she so adored.
