Sharon Lee Clouse (Hazelton), 73, of Spring, Texas, passed away at her home on March 31, 2026.
Sharon was born to Arlene (Stafford) and Edward Hazelton on October 29, 1952 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She attended Chippewa Falls High School. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she started her family. In 1979, she moved south to Spring, Texas, where she became a proud Texan for the next five decades.
Sharon worked for Klein Independent School District, waking before dawn each school day to ensure students made it to and from school with a friendly face by their side. She cherished the company of the children and her coworkers. She found faith and community through her Bible study group and among her many neighbors in the Auburn Lakes neighborhood.
She had a lifelong love of art, painting in her younger years and later expressing her creativity through gardening and arts and crafts with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. She proudly supported them in all of their endeavors, rarely missing an opportunity to see them in the classroom, at the theater, or on the playing field. She could be found in theaters and gyms and on sidelines across the Houston area, rain or shine.
Sharon is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jessika Smith and Jeff Smith of Houston, Texas, and her son and daughter-in-law, Justin "Bumpy" Wooldridge and Barbara Wooldridge of Spring, Texas. She also leaves behind her four beloved grandchildren: Connor and Courtney Smith and Trenton and Carter Wooldridge. Sharon is also survived by her two sisters, Shirley (Roger) Peck of Jim Falls, Wisconsin and Pam Bollom of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whom she loved.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Arlene and Edward Hazelton; her husband, Richard Clouse; and her brothers Edward Hazelton and Brad Hazelton.
Serving as pallbearers are, Justin Wooldridge, Trenton Wooldridge, Carter Wooldridge, Connor Smith, Jeff Smith and Karl Zipps.
