Sharalyn (Hinote) Propst after battling cancer passed away early Sunday morning January 8th, 2023. She is the daughter of Richard and Sandra (Crile) Hinote. She grew up in the Cypress area. In 1988 Sharalyn married Brian Propst and they made their home in the Cypress area. In 1999 she began her career at CFISD until the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Earl Hinote Sr. in 2018 and her granddaughter C'ira in 2021. She is survived by her children, Briana Propst, Rachelyn Propst, and Jordan Propst all from the Houston area. As well as three grandchildren, Jayden, Leialyn, and Calcifer.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to either Fairfield Baptist Church building fund or the Card Ministry of Sardis Baptist Church in Rusk, Texas.

A Celebration of Life Service for Sharalyn Propst will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Fairfield Baptist Church, 27240 Hwy 290, Cypress, Texas at 11:00 a.m.
