I want to first of all extend my gratitude to all who have come today to honor Shane, our loved one we have all come to love and cherish for many years.

All of us have known him in a variety of roles son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson but no matter the role Shane was special to everyone.

Shane, we weren't prepared for you to go,

you were too full of life to be

taken away from us so soon.

It's still hard to believe,

we'll miss your smile

and your laughter in our ears.

Your absence leaves a hole in us

we're filling with our tears.

You taught us how to be our best,

to never hold a grudge.

Your presence was a light of joy

for everyone around.

We miss you Shane.

You will always be in our hearts and on our minds
