Sean James Daly, of Houston Texas passed away on 22 June 2026 at the age of 62. Born in Wheeling West Virginia on August 24, 1963, son of James Anthony Daly and Margaret Ann (Tackett) Daly. Sean left the United States at age 5 and loved every minute of the 6 countries he lived in along with the 11 schools he attended. He was a complete extrovert and made friends everywhere he went. He was a quick study of the local language and made sure he was fluent in all available swear words which he readily shared with his sisters. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University and worked part-time at Brookshire Brothers in Nacogdoches, Texas quickly working his way into Management. He spent several years working in the grocery industry until he finally moved back to the Houston area and joined Bechtel Corp working in the Telecommunications department which he parlayed into a career at Mayer Brown, LLC, a renowned law firm in downtown Houston. He spent over 10 years supporting their IT/Telecommunications and AV needs until he retired due to health reasons.
Sean was a proud Irish American and broadcasted his lineage at every opportunity. He was an avid sports fan, most especially for the St. Louis Cardinals which is not to say that he did not fully support and actively root for the Astros along with the Rockets and the Texans. He loved all animals, most especially his cats and spent a small fortune on every cat related treasure available on Amazon. Sean lived life on his own terms and his go to expression was "memories and moments." He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen and Laura along with his brother-in-laws, Bruce and Tony.
