Saundra Louise Melugin Jetton 80 of Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2021.

Born September 18, 1940 in Blanchard, OK.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Bobby Ray Jetton and her oldest son Paul Ray Jetton, her mother Ethel Watt Melugin and father Herbert Edward Melugin, sisters Joan Mainor, Barbara Bryant, and Carolyn Gerza.

Saundra is survived by her loving son Scott Edward Jetton and wife Andrea, her three grandchildren, Conner Scott Jetton and his wife Misty, Laura Katherine Jetton, and Clayton Ray Jetton, sister LaJonda Robison and Daughter in law Sherri Scudder Jetton.

Saundra was raised in Baytown, TX with her four sisters. She worked for the credit bureau when she met and married Bobby Ray Jetton, she spent her days caring for her family, supporting her boys' sports and FFA activities, gardening with her husband, cooking and providing a loving home.

In 2020, Saundra became a resident of Southern Knights in Tomball, TX, she had many friends, and won many bingo games there. We would like to thank the many caregivers who helped her and became true friends with her along the way. Special thanks to Lata Bhatia, Dee Owens and her physical therapist Jessica Hernandez. Special gratitude to her daughter in law Sherri for helping her through many difficult times.

Saundra was a kind and loving person who will be missed by many. We are comforted in knowing she is at rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
