Salter, Sara Jo (Lee) went to be with our Lord on June 22, 2017. She was born in Dallas, TX and her family moved to Houston in 1933.  She attended Aldine High School and The University of Houston, where she majored in Nutrition.  She met her husband, Dougald, while in college and they married a few years later.   She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and friend.

She was a leader in Girl Scout Troop 106 from 1962 until 1969.  She taught Sunday school at Westbury Methodist Church and volunteered as a room mother at Andy Anderson Elementary.  She worked in the Cy-fair School district at both Horne Elementary and Adam Elementary and retired in 1986.  She was a kind, funny, creative, beautiful, inspiring and caring person, a true one of a kind.  There are no words to express how much Sara will be missed, she has left a whole in our hearts that can never be filled.

She is predeceased by her Parents, Joseph Seaborn Lee and Mabel Tyner Lee, her husband, Dougald Ladd Salter and both of her sons, Thomas MacGregor Salter and CW4 Richard Matthew Salter. She is survived by her daughter, Sara Salter Ward and her husband, Jeff, her granddaughter, Christina Salter Constant and her husband, Max, her grandson Jarrett Matthew Salter and his wife, Arianna, her granddaughter Danielle Leigh Salter and her grandson Lane Douglas Salter, her great grandsons, Kyle Matthew Constant and Kole Adam Constant, her daughter in law, Janet Meyers Salter and her former daughter in law Christina Adam Wilson and many other nephews, nieces and friends.
