Sara Ann Sanderson Greco passed away peacefully at her home on February 13, 2024.

Sara was born on January 4, 1950, in Meridian, Mississippi, the second of four children to the late Joe Frank Sanderson, Sr. and Ann Spitchley Sanderson.

In 1990, Sara married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Gathian Greco. She is survived by Gathian and her children, Anna Foster and Michelle St. Clair, Abby and Bryan Talkington, Arin Foster, Joe and Koren Greco, and Tony Greco. She is also survived by her brothers, Joe and Bill Sanderson and her sister Janet Sanderson Ott. The lights of her life were her nine grandchildren Grace, Madeline, Asher, Sophia, Owen, Emerson, Lilian, Sam, and Roman Gathian.

Sara loved her family more than anything. She became a Mimi in 2004, and no one was better suited for this role. She spent her days trying to make the lives of her kids and grandkids better. She was everything a Mimi should be and more, and her grandchildren have a lifetime of memories full of laughter and love.

Sara's life is marked by fierce love and devotion to her family, unmatched generosity, and a sense of humor that none will soon forget. She made everyone feel accepted and loved. Most who knew her can agree that if you ever needed anything, she was the person to call. Her faith in Jesus never wavered and we can find much comfort in her total healing and resting forever with her Savior.
