Betty Ross "Sandy" Taylor, age 95, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Spring, Texas.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert Harcourt Taylor, Jr., who passed away in 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ann Miller; her son, Robert Lee Taylor; her brother, Ernest John Zink, Jr.; her granddaughter, Jennifer Louise Taylor; her grandson, Robert Clayton Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, Margaret Ellis Taylor and Oliver William Taylor.

Sandy lived a full and vibrant life enriched by family, faith, and wide-ranging interests. She was a talented needleworker, a lifelong supporter of Texas A&M football and basketball, and an avid traveler whose journeys took her across the globe—to China, Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, Japan, Tibet, and beyond.

She found joy in the outdoors, particularly camping in the mountains of Colorado, and expressed her love for music through piano and singing in the church choir. A longtime parishioner of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Houston, Sandy gave generously of her time and spirit, working tirelessly to support the church's Street of Shops fundraising event.
