On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, Sandra "Sandi" Wright, loving wife of 43 years to Glenn Wright, passed away at the age of 63. Sandi was born September 1, 1957 in Mexia, TX to C.G. and Vera (Gibson) Powledge. She graduated Class of 1975 at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, enjoyed being a hairdresser for a brief time, and then went on to work in Medical Records for Memorial Hermann Hospital for 42 years in Houston. For over 20 years, Sandi and Glenn had many animals and she loved taking care of all of them. Sandi had a passion for gardening, she enjoyed browsing antique stores and shops, adding to her collections of various things. She loved visiting with family and friends, and taking annual trips to the Hill Country with Glenn, as well as many other places. She retired from Memorial Hermann in 2019 and looked forward to more travels with Glenn and enjoying their new home in Caldwell, TX. Sandi is preceded in death by her father, C.G. Powledge, her mother, Vera Powledge and her brother, Tyrone Powledge. She is survived by her husband Glenn Wright; step-daughter Kimberly Miller; grandchildren Juliann Miller and Daniel Miller; sisters Judy Moore and Ann Hall and her husband Marvin; sister-in-law, Belinda Powledge; several cousins; nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27th, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball at 10 o'clock a.m., visitation begins at 9 o'clock a.m.
