On July 11, 2023, Sandra Susan Watson (Sandy) suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at the age of 74.

Born in Washington state, Sandy moved to New Orleans as a baby and grew up in the Crecent City, where she graduated high school and started her long fulfilling career with Shell Oil Company. A couple of years later she transferred to Houston, Texas, rearing her three children and settling there for over 50 years.

During her retirement she was able to enjoy the world from Hawaii to the Danube River. The latter she experienced a lifelong dream of seeing the Lipizzaner Stallions in Austria.

Sandy was known for her infectious smile and ability to start conversations with anyone. Seriously, anyone. There was not a person whose path she crossed that she could not find something to talk about.

Sandy is survived by her children Kris Langenfeld, Robert Watson, and Kenneth Watson. They invite you to join them for a memorial service at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065, on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 2 pm.
