Sandra Kay Tidwell, known to her family and friends as "Sandy," was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 12, 1946. In 1973, she married John Tidwell, her loving husband, and spent 43 years with him.  They lived in and around the Houston area all that time.  Sandy was a gourmet cook and loved creating new recipes and cooking them for her family and friends.  She enjoyed helping others by providing them with a good meal.  Sandy battled diabetes for several years, and lately was very ill with renal disease.  She passed away October 3, 2017, and will be greatly missed by her husband, family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that friends make a donation to the American Diabetes Association in Sandy's memory.
