On October 3rd, 2022, Sandra "Sandy" Sanchez earned her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 56.
Sandy was that of a simple woman who didn't need much in life other than that of the love and company of her friends and family. She was a fun loving person that often would be considered the "life of the party" and whom many loved. She loved her grandkids, which referred to her as "Nonny", tremendously and couldn't wait to meet the next addition due in December. As a gift from God, Blaze Presley Barker came early on October 8, 2022, just 4 days after Sandy's passing. There is no doubt she was sent as a precious gift to fill the hole in our hearts Sandy left behind.
Sandy was also the fearless pillar of her family, providing strength and guidance to those she considered as such, including many of her friends. To know her was to know a strong woman who fought hard for her family, loved even harder and was a survivor. Her love for the people she left behind lives strong and continues to present itself each and every day.
Sandy was married to Fred Sanchez in 1992 and they lived together in Montgomery, Texas with their dog Chloe. She is survived by her Children, Brittany Mattaliano, Nichole Barker, Shaun Sanchez and Jenna Sanchez; Son-in-Laws, Carl Mattaliano and Cash Barker; Grandchildren, Enzo, Skylar, Cruz and Blaze; Parents, Larry and Agnes Prewit; Brother, Larry Prewit Jr. and Nephew Luke Prewit.
A brief Grave-Side Service will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Klein Memorial Park Cemetary located at 32509 TX-249, Pinehurst, TX 77362.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter as Sandy was a huge Dog lover.
