Sandra Jean Sealy, 84, of Pinehurst, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
She was born on April 14, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, to Reuben and Gladys Hanna while her father was serving in the U.S. Navy and stationed there. Sandra was raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Smiley High School in 1960. She married her first husband, Kenneth Kelley, in June of 1960, and they enjoyed 35 years of marriage before he passed away. Sandra married Vernon Sealy in July of 2002, and they enjoyed nearly 24 years of marriage before she passed away.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Reuben and Gladys Hanna, her first husband, Kenneth Kelley, her sister Sharon Bacom, her brother-in-law Hugh Bacom, and her son-in-law Robert Rhodes II.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Sealy, her sisters Linda Roan (husband Dwight) and Patricia Matula (husband Michael), her children Debbie Morris (husband Richard), Sherry Furgerson (husband Terrance), Vernon Gordon Sealy Jr. (wife Jerri), Veronica Rhodes, and Vincent Sealy (wife Lynette). She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Leonard (husband Patrick), Kenneth Elmore (wife Kristen), Chris Morris (wife Alissa), Deanna Davis, Vonda Kay Sealy, Megan Rhodes, Robert Rhodes III (wife Tiffanie), and Shelbi Dvorachek (husband Austin). Additionally, Sandra is survived by her great-grandchildren Elliot Ranson, Aidan Leonard, Carter Leonard, Cooper Leonard, Emma Leonard, Harmony Elmore, Linda Elmore, Abigail Elmore, Elaine Elmore, Hannah Elmore, Clayton Elmore, Payten Herman, Jacob Rhodes, Trystan Ingram, Tyler Ingram, Landyn Lee, Kason Wyatt, Kaleb Lee, Hallee Jo Rhodes, Valerie Wyatt, and Robert Rhodes IV.
Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. She also enjoyed playing games with family and friends and traveling to new places. Her kindness, warmth, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive visitors at Klein Funeral Home, located at 14711 FM 1488 in Magnolia, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Klein Funeral Home, with the interment service immediately following. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception at the Decker Prairie Community Building, located at 32434 Decker Prairie Road in Magnolia, Texas after all services.
