Sandra, 86, left this world peacefully on 8/18/2026 at The Heights of Magnolia with her son & daughter-in-law at her side.
Sandra was born on 7/21/1940 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Gerald John Heiser & Beulah Ellen Bean. She spent her early years growing up in Iowa before moving with her mother to San Antonio, Texas. While there, she attended & graduated from a Catholic school which gave her the ethics & morals to guide her through the rest of her life.
Also while living there, Sandra met her husband Arvel & spent the next decade starting a family & building a life with him. When he found a better job opportunity, she moved with him to the Houston area where they spent the rest of their lives.
Sandra was a loving wife to Arvel for over 67 years. Her greatest joy & satisfaction in life was being a mother to her 2 children (Lisa & Michael). She strove to be supportive of her family’s endeavors & to help them to become the persons they would like to be. She also was a provider for many years, working as a bookkeeper for a retail shop, as a clerk in a tool shop and as an assembler for a computer company.
Sandra had numerous passions in life, including crafting, scrapbooking and crocheting. She fervently researched & documented her family’s geneology, spending many happy hours at the library & on her computer. She enjoyed garage sales & scavenger hunts. She liked to play board games & card games, dominoes and bingo. She also enjoyed dining out at several of her favorite restaraunts (as frequently as possible!).
Sandra is survived by her children Lisa & Michael and daughter-in-law Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A funeral service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held on 8/25/2026 at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia, located at 14711 FM1488, Magnolia, TX 77354. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
Your worldly struggles are over, Sandra. May you rest in peace. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
