Sandra Lee "Sandy" Cyphers Bailiff was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 5, 1947 to Martin L Cyphers, Jr. and Martha L McGuire Cyphers.  She was the first of three children.

Sandy attended Patterson Co-Op High School where she earned awards for shorthand and typing.  While in high school, she interned for The Duriron Company and was hired full time after graduating in 1965.  It was at Duriron that she met Dean Bailiff in the fall of 1966.  They married on June 17, 1967 and began their 53+ year journey together.  In 1968, the new family expanded with the birth of Paul and then again in 1971 with the addition of Stephen.

After brief stays in Kansas City, Missouri and Elk Grove Village, Illinois, the family landed in Spring, Texas in 1976, where Sandy lived for the next 45 years.  Her proudest achievement was being a wife and raising her two boys. She was a loving wife, mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother.  While fully devoted to raising her boys, Sandy found the time to start the family business with Dean in 1983.  Her tireless contributions to Bailiff Enterprises over the next 37 years were nothing less than remarkable.

Beyond raising boys and building a business, Sandy had lots of hobbies. She enjoyed bowling, playing bunco with friends, attending Ducks Unlimited banquets, and supporting her beloved Houston Oilers/Texans.  Sandy loved dressing for every holiday or event with the appropriate earrings, sweater, shoes, and watch.  She enjoyed the challenge of a silent auction and rarely lost any "prize" that she had her sights on. One passion, however, consumed her for more than 30 years: Precious Moments. She bought figurines, frequently visited the Precious Moments chapel, and belonged to several local collectors' clubs. She gave away more figurines than most collectors own and especially loved finding the right ones for the special people in her life.

Sandy and Dean began attending the Second Baptist Church Cypress campus in February 2006 and have attended nearly every Sunday since. In 2007, Sandy made the decision to make Jesus her Lord and Savior, and she was baptized in August 2007.

Sandy is survived by her husband Dean, son Paul Bailiff, son Stephen Bailiff (wife Tiffani), sister Jo Vaughn (husband James), brother Martin L. "Marty" Cyphers III (wife Donna), grandsons Riley, Wesley, and Andrew Bailiff, nephew Tim Black (wife Teresa), niece Morgan Goins (husband Brett), nephew Tyler Cyphers (wife Hillary), along with other extended family.

Visitation for the family will be Saturday, February 27 ^th from 9:45-10:45am.  Sandy's Memorial Service will follow at 11:00am.  Both will be held at the Cypress Campus of Second Baptist Church located at 29900 HWY 290, Cypress TX 77433.
