Dr. Samuel Allan Christopher Ph.D., 81

Samuel Allan Christopher, 81, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at his home in Houston, Texas.

Sam was born on September 21, 1936 in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania the son of the late Samuel and Mable Christopher.  He graduated from Snowden Township High School in 1954, Waynesburg University in 1958, and University of Pittsburgh in 1965 with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.  He pursued his professional career in industrial psychology with Fourtune 100 Companies.  Sam had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.  He touched the lives of many people and never asked for anything in return.

Sam married his college sweetheart Mary Lynne Riddle on August 9, 1958. They were happily married for 59 years.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife and 3 children.  His son, Keith A. Christopher and his 2 grandchildren Ashley de Villepin and her husband Thibault and Kyle A. Christopher.  His son Randall W. Christopher. His daughter Ami L. Christopher-Wallace and her husband Robert H. Wallace and his 3 grandsons Carson C. Wallace, Ian W. Wallace, and Mitchell T. Wallace.  His sister Darlene C. Floss and brother Dennis W. Christopher and his wife Ann as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A "Celebration of Sam's Life" will be held at the family home on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association at stroke.org or at the link below.
