Samuel "Marc" Burr, age 63, lost his battle to cancer on Monday, October 14, 2019 in Texas City, TX.

Marc was born June 19, 1956 in Houston, Texas. He worked for Harris County FPM, for 27 years.  He retired in 2009 and moved to Central Texas (Limestone County). Marc had a passion for music and was the drummer for a gospel band and elder in his church.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ryan Marc Burr, mother, Patty Lorino Burr, and father, Donald Dean Burr. Marc is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anita Jo Jones Burr, his son, Kristopher Dean Burr and wife, Debra Burr and 5 grandchildren.

He will be laid to rest beside his son at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Viewing and funeral services will take place at Klein Funeral Home,

9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas.
