Sally Calder Drott, 86, of Houston, TX, peacefully passed away on September 5, 2024, in Celina, Tx. She was born March 2, 1938, in Luck, Wisconsin to the late Irene (Murphy) and John F. Calder.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel (Dan) R. Drott, her oldest son Michael John Drott, son-in-law Tom Dickey, & granddaughter Julia Hope Drott. She is survived by her 5 children, Gregory Drott (Tracy), Stacey Drott Dickey, Paul Drott (Stacey), David Drott (Jalana), John Drott (Annette), grandchildren Christopher Williams, Megan Palisin (Robert), Alexandria Gang (Cody), Courtney Stallcup (Cole), Sydney Drott, Conor Drott, Jaime Drott, Leslie Bautz (Kevin), & Alicia Sells (John) who affectionately called her "Issy" & many great grandchildren that she adored & loved dearly. Sally never missed an opportunity to say, "I love you".

Sally married the love of her life Daniel Drott in Albuquerque, NM in 1958, After several moves Sally & Dan settled in Houston Texas in 1963 where Dan was a successful State Farm agent while Sally helped build his business & relished her role of mother raising the 6 children that she loved & adored. They were long time members of the St Ambrose & Prince of Peace Catholic churches. Sally left the legacy of serving the Lord & her community. She lived it, walked it, shared it & truly believed and trusted that God wrote her story. Sally never turned down an opportunity to help a fellow human being. Sally was not afraid of death & cherished the day that she would complete her journey to join the Lord she so dearly loved.

While her work on earth may be done, we are sure she will be busy looking down on all her children & grandchildren and helping guide them on their journey.

The family will receive visitors Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service & Rosary starting at 6:30 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379. Interment will take place at a later date in the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she will lay in rest next to Dan for eternity.

Serving as pallbearers are Paul Drott, Conor Drott, Jamie Drott, Robert Palisin, Cody Gang, Cole Stallcup; honorary pallbearer Christopher Williams.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association in search of a cure for dementia.
