Sally Jean McClendon Barnett, 86, passed peacefully early Saturday morning, January 2, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Sally was born on March 18, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Perry M. McClendon and Consuela Draper McClendon.

Sally is preceded in death by her late husband of 62 years, William "Bill" Gray Barnett.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Osmer and husband Bob, Susan Eby and husband Dan and Barbara Sander and husband Frank; eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Sally was funny, kind, loving, elegant, loyal, generous, and completely devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be missed terribly but we find comfort in knowing that she is whole again and is in heaven with her Lord Jesus, Bill and other family members.

Funeral services for Sally will be at her gravesite in Klein Memorial Park on SH 249 on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2 PM.
