Ryan Leonard Hegefeld "Heggie", 37, of Houston, passed away December 13, 2018.  He was born September 7, 1981, in Houston to Wayne and Jamie Hegefeld.

Including his parents he is survived by his wife, Rachel Hegefeld; sons, Landon Hegefeld, and Logan Hegefeld, sister, Melissa Hegefeld Lohman; neice, Hayden Lohman; grandmother, Agnes "Gran-K" Kiesewetter and Donald Povlock; father-in-law, Jesse Gallardo; mother-in-law, Kathy Carlson; sister-in-law, Kara Aranda; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ryan is proceeded in Death by his Grandfather James Kiesewetter of Houston, TX, Grandparents Wilhelm (Bill) and Lillie Mae Hegefeld of Brenham, TX, and Uncle Leonard Hegefeld of Brenham, TX.

Ryan grew up in the Houston area and attended Cy-Falls High School and loved to run track. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Sales.

Ryan's biggest passion besides his family was Sports. He loved watching and going to games and supported the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Rockets and Cougars. Ryan was diagnosed with Cancer in 2012 and fought hard and never lost hope. He went peacefully surrounded by his family and those who loved him.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and support to Ryan during his courageous battle with cancer.

Serving as pallbearers are, Casey Kiesewetter, Corey Kiesewetter, James D. Kiesewetter, Austin Kiesewetter, Ross Hegefeld, Josh Waddell, Justin Joswiak, and Jason Dedear.
