Ruth Sanchez's Obituary
Ruth C. Sanchez, age 98, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, in the presence of her husband, youngest daughter (Ruth) and son-in-law (Higinio).
Ruth was born October 16, 1922 in Houston, TX, daughter of Salvador and Maria (Murillo) Campos. She enjoyed family gatherings especially on holidays and birthdays and delighted in watching her grandchildren grow up and also helped to raise them. Ruth enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada and was a devoted member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
She is survived by: her husband Roberto Sanchez; daughters: Mary Ellen Salinas, Irene (Roberto) De la Vega, Rebecca Fernandez (Gary Burkhardt), Ruth F. (Higinio) Sanchez; grandchildren: Diane Gomez (Juan Aillon), Irma Tristan, Yolanda Gomez, Mary Ellen Torres, Susana (Steve) Mendoza, Amanda (Markos) Pappas, Jennifer Smesny, Dr. Elizabeth (Robert) Fowler, Robert (Karen) Sanchez; Thirteen (13) great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her siblings Amelia De la Garza, Salvador Campos, Jessie Campos, Joe Campos, and Guadalupe Hernandez.
