Ruth Wisnoskie Hardamon left this world on Thursday, November 2, 2023 and joined her husband, Louis Harvey Hardamon, in the heavenly embrace of Our Lord. Our most beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt peacefully returned to the source of all love at her home in Tomball with family and friends by her side. She was 90 years old. Her loyal devotion to her family, her nurturing spirit, and her lively personality will remain forever in the hearts of all those she touched.

Ruth was born in Richards, Texas on September 20, 1933 and in later years moved to the Tomball area with her husband Louis to raise their family in the family home he built in the 1950s. As a devout Catholic and woman of faith, she was one of the founding members of St. Anne Catholic Church in Tomball as well as a member of the Catholic Daughters of America since it was chartered in 1995. She attended mass weekly up until just a month ago. She was the quintessential caregiver, ensuring the care of her husband and family were a top priority. She cared for her mother and her husband throughout sickness and into their final days. Her family was the heart of her world. She would never miss a family event, treasured spending time weekly with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed daily phone calls with her sister, other family, and friends. Her volunteer work with Tomball Regional Hospital also exemplified her generous and nurturing nature. She valued her time, efforts, and relationships with those at the hospital, volunteering two days a week for 30 years. Never leaving home without her purse and lipstick she enjoyed exercising, playing bingo and attending happy hour, loved shopping for the latest fashion and traveling on vacations with her husband and family. Ruth loved life and her infectious smile and laugh, her faith in God, devotion to prayer, loyalty and love to family and friends and kindness to others leaves a lasting impact to everyone she has touched.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years Louis Harvey Hardamon, and her parents, Charlie and Bertha Wisnoskie. Additionally, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Harold and Edwin Wisnoskie, her twin brother Rufus Wisnoskie, and her brother-in-law, Newton Lang.

She is survived by her son, Gary Hardamon; Her daughter, Kathy Peacock and husband Bill; Her daughter, Susan Chartrand; and her six Grandchildren: Michelle Peacock, Joey Hardamon and wife Jackie, Matthew Peacock, Andrew Chartrand and wife Helen, Brian Hardamon, and Phillip Chartrand. She is also survived by her dear sister, Janie Lang. She will be missed by her beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

We extend our unwavering gratitude and appreciation to her dear friend and caregiver, Kathy Fusselman, for her many years of love, support, care, and friendship to Ruth. She was a blessing not only to Ruth but to her immediate family as well.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1111 S. Cherry St, Tomball, with a Rosary to be said starting approximately 7:00 p.m.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Tomball. A private family burial will take place later that afternoon at Klein Memorial Park, FM 2920 in Klein. Her Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers.
