Ruth Mae Stark Dorman, 80, formerly of Waller, Texas, passed away on June 12, 2022. She was born January 12, 1942, in Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Barney Augusta Dorman and Eva Sue Cloud, also a brother RC Dorman, sisters Ruby Hahn, Robbie Dowdell, and Reba Smith.

She is survived by daughter Kay Wolfe and husband Tom of Hempstead, Texas, son Bill Wallace, Jr., and wife Billie Jean of Bacliff, Texas, daughter Billie Jaco and fiance Alan Phillips of Hawkins, Texas, son James Stark and wife Sharon of Hempstead, Texas, brother Ross Dorman and wife Dorothy of Willis, Texas. She had thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Ruth's livelihood and passion was working at the Pecan Tree restaurant where she enjoyed serving her many customers. After retiring, she loved being with her grandkids, cooking, and sewing. Her family will remember her as feisty, funny, and a great cook who loved being a Mama, Granny, and Nana Ruth.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Waller Civic Center, 3007 Waller Street, Waller, Texas.
