He is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Viola Stokeley.
Rueben is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Shirley Stokeley; his children, Douglas Stokeley, and Matthew Stokeley and wife Tenessa Stokeley; and his granddaughter, Sunsarae Stokeley.
