Ruby Spivey Spikes was born and raised in Madisonville, Texas on April 19, 1921, and passed away in Houston, Texas on July 31, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clyde "Red" Spikes; her son, Larry Hausler; parents, Lawrence and Fannie Spivey; sister, Eunice Park; and brothers, Cecil Spivey, Harvey Spivey, and Dan Spivey.

Ruby is survived by her daughters, Linda Kleppel and husband Ronnie, and Peggy Mushinski and husband Michael; grandchildren, Cheryl Hausler, Robert Kleppel and wife Stacy, Dianna Sanders and husband Mark, Andrew Kleppel and wife Melissa, Ryan Mushinski and wife Rebekah, and Aaron Mushinski and Kaitlin; great grandchildren, Chase, Colin, Hailey, Kirsten, Ashton, Zachary, Lauren, Hannah, Sarah, Grace, and Paige; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Maurice Novasad; brother, Ray Spivey and wife Betty; sister-in-Law, Ouida Spivey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
